- Type Plate for Range Hoods: You'll typically find this on the inner frame of the hood, just below the grease filter.
- Type Plate for Stoves: In stoves, the type plate is often located on the back panel of the appliance.
For older devices, there might be a legacy-style serial number, which we can verify if needed. If you require assistance in determining the age and type of your appliance, please feel free to send us a picture of the type plate via email to mda@aide.fi.
As an example, the serial number for a new model could look like this: IH21D000xxxx. Here?s how to read the serial number:
- IH: Ventilation (product category)
- 21: Year of manufacture
- D: Month of manufacture (A=January, B=February, C=March, D=April...)
- The last digits represent the production or sequence number.
